I’m Lizzy. It’s so nice to meet you!
I’m a photographer and writer, with a special affinity for wildlife photography and stories about animals. Though, you will find a variety of other subjects within the image galleries. Like many of you, I absolutely treasure wildlife and wild spaces, and my aim is to keep both of them free and wild. Photography is one way I hope I can contribute to doing that.
To date, my photography has been mostly around Arizona, where I am currently based. But, in time, I plan to expand beyond the state. I’m lucky however, Arizona boasts wonderful wildlife like the Salt River and Heber wild Mustangs, along with remarkable places like the Grand Canyon or Sedona, with its red rock formations and spectacular views. There are also several noteworthy Riperian Preserves, where many migrating birds visit, and where I have also developed a love for photographing the often crazy Snowy Egrets, herons, and other wading birds. It brings me so much joy being able to spend hours amongst them, observing their unique personalities and behaviors.
